It is a lovely foggy morning and I am stuck inside. Why? I just had a phone call.
“Can you leave Fizz until the afternoon, she’s getting her hair done today.”
Now be honest fellas (I am talking to the gentlemen now) If your wife or girlfriend announced that she was getting her hair done… I mean on a scale of one to ten…?
You would probably want to set yourself some little reminders, right?
If you find that is not the case with Fizz then, face it, she has you wrapped around her little finger.
This is what she looked like last time. 😀
Do you want to know her secret, ladies?
She is a master of timing.
She lets herself go a bit, not in any perceptible way but just enough so that her visit to the salon makes a difference. It is all about choosing the right moment.
This is just a preview of today’s post. Shortly we will be “Messing the Dog up again!” Also my next post may include some nature notes and possibly some mud 🙂
😀 Oh my, I thank you for the morning grins.

Thank you very much Maggie 🙂 I apologise to you and every other reader for not getting a second post up yesterday but by the time we got out the light was gone. I got a few shots of the new look Fizz and I am just figuring out how to add a picture to a comment. 🙂

She has turned into a regular glamour puss! For the moment, anyway.

You made everybody’s day here! Getting her hair done………yes you need to notice and tell her how pretty she looks. Actually she looks great short or long, mussy or clean……..or, have we ever seen her really clean? Thanks for the 🙂

I don’t think Fizz needs any help messing herself up. She does a fine job all by herself.

I hope she doesn’t get too cold without her thick coat. At least she’ll be able to see where she’s going.

Thank you Clare 🙂 I did get to have a chat with Margaret before they left and we both agreed she should keep a bit of her winter coat. She doesn’t look quite so much like a shorn sheep this time 🙂

It’s a tidier look, with enough left to stay warm as the temperature drops!

I think I can safely say she will be dreaming of mud puddles and tennis balls while she is getting “prettified”. Her owners might want to face the fact that underneath the glamour, she is really a tomboy.

Thank you Virginia 🙂 Fizz doesn’t care what she looks like, she just wants to be able to see the ball.

I like her the best hairy! 🙂 A lady looks loveliest with long hair 🙂 🙂 Dosen’t she need the hair as a coat for winter?

Thanks Trini 🙂 Yes she does need to keep warm but she needed her face sorted out, we keep losing tennis balls.

Wow, I can relate to the note on the back of the hand.
I’ve been meaning to bring this up and keep forgetting. Fizz is an interesting name. Is that a family name or is there a story behind it?

Thanks David 🙂 I think that the name is probably descriptive. I remember when I was just a youngster, going to visit my dad and he had just bought a miniature poodle. It never stood still, it just whizzed around over all the furniture, all around the room. I remember that when I first saw it I couldn’t figure out what sort of an animal it was, it didn’t look like any kind of dog I had seen before and it just wouldn’t stand still. I think that Fizz as a puppy probably fizzed 🙂

Fizz looks adorable. I believe she finds a bit of mud to be her “make up” tho. She has the most adorable face.
Happy Thanksgiving from the USA.
