An Unexpected Change Of Plan

At two thirty this afternoon Haircut was outside of my kitchen window.

HaircutShe was trying to express in doggie language that contrary to my expectations, three hours at the beauty parlour  had not made her day complete.

This is what she said.

What are you gonna do?

I will take you out but you must promise to stay well away from the mud,

It takes three hours at the parlour because the first hour is spent telling Margaret what a terrible owner she is for getting her dog in such a state and then giving her training in the proper way to care for her pet.

It is not Margaret’s fault. It is not even my fault  but obviously I don’t want to upset Margaret later in the day.

No muddy  puddles. Okay?

FizzThis dog smells really sweet. It must be the shampoo that they use and she has got the cleanest feet that I have ever seen.

How can it be my fault? It is not like I invented mud, it is just there.

FizzAnyway I thought that you might like to see the new Fizz.

Fizz Fizz Fizz Fizz FizzShe isn’t very much different from the old Fizz.

I kept her as clean as I could. She has been through a tough ordeal today and I guess that when it was over she just needed to get back to nature. Nature can fix anything.

FizzNature and a little bit of love 🙂

    1. A very late thank you my friend 🙂 Wonderful Moths that you are posting now. I am toying with the idea of a moth trap but it seems like a big world to take on, almost a full time job in itself. I might just leave my kitchen light on in the summer and see what comes in 🙂

    1. Thank you Dennis 🙂 That is not proving to be as easy as I thought it would be, mud just doesn’t seem to stick to her like it used to. I think that they may have looked at the state of her and sprayed her with Teflon at the BP, perhaps that was the funny smell 🙂

    1. Thank you Ann 🙂 Sorry about the late reply. She is a Shih Tzu, a companion animal sometimes described as a toy dog. Not a real dog at all but a toy one, fortunately her batteries have not run out yet, I have no idea where to put the new ones 🙂

  1. LOLOLOL I have news for you. You can’t leave/move on because she loves you way to much to let you go. She would fall into despair. You love her too, so you either have to get her person to let you have her, dognap her or stay. What a tangled web we weave…arf

    1. Thank you Gigi 🙂 It might be nice to be master of my own destiny but where would the excitement be if I knew all of my own future? Whatever tomorrow brings I am sure it will be for the best 🙂

  2. Oh my, she does look even more adorable than usual! My little dog is about to go for a clip too as her hairy feet get quite knotty and burry and she hates me touching them. I will probably get a lecture too. Sigh. She stays perfectly still for the vet because she is petrified of the surroundings. With me she is cheeky! It’s impossible to keep a doggy who loves the outdoors clean. What fun would life be without mud! 😉

  3. You can’t expect a dog to keep clean all the time especially if she is a dog who has to live outside! If she lived indoors she would probably have to be kept a little cleaner. She is a lovely dog and I am glad you share her with us.

    1. Thank you Ed 🙂 We are enjoying it. This sort of long haired dog is quite high maintenance in the summer but It is convenient that she can grow a long coat for the winter.
