This one is a tiny wildflower and you have to look quite closely if you want to see it as more than a dot on the floor but then that is what we are here for…. to look closely.
The leaves are very distinctive and the flower is exquisite. I am confident that despite it’s diminutive size I will have no problem in getting a positive identification on this one. Usually when I find a flower that I don’t know I can at least recognise the family but I am at a bit of a loss here.
Over to you…… 🙂
It’s some kind of Euphrasia (Eyebright).
Christer.

Beautiful and I have just been reading, possibly a parasite. I do like it when we can combine beautiful and interesting. 🙂

Nice-looking flower . . . FYI, when I don’t know a name, I just make up my own. That looks like Trudy.

They remind me of the finely painted china tea cups. They just look painted inside. Gorgeous.

Identification: I checked this one out and it is an Eyebright. I found out that there are about twenty different species in the UK and a further sixty hybrids. Only an expert can separate them and so we can not get it to species. This is Eyebright, Euphrasia.
