This is the flower that I went out to photograph today. I told you that it was beautiful, didn’t I? At this moment in time I don’t know what it is, although I recognise the family and finding it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
However I do believe in getting other people to do my work for me and I have a lot to do this evening. So if anybody recognises it please do tell me what it is.
Looks like Tufted Vetch, Colin.

Thank you very much Mike 🙂 I had it down as a Vetch but not one I have seen before. I will get that checked out 🙂

I’ve always heard that Vetch is naturally beautiful, now there is proof! (adds to list of ‘what-to-grow’ when I have dirt again!

Thanks SE. They don’t behave themselves very well though. The little tendrils wrap around everything near by and give things a kind of “Messy Hair” look. Good for a really wild look 🙂

Oh, then with my wild hair, we’ll make a good pair, lol! I have a vine like that here in the city, plus cardinal vine (garden thug Elite Top Ten) that just tendril everywhere.
It’s the blue tones that I really like in flowers, thanks for the intro.
