A New Arrival

A new bird in the garden yesterday. I only managed to  get a couple of shots of him but there will be more to come.

It is a Eurasian Nuthatch. When I saw my landlord I was keen to tell him that I had seen a Nuthatch and he said, “I wondered where they had got to, We always have a pair of them, every year.” Oh joy.

There is something that I haven’t told you about me, I love Nuthatches. In my little wood I had bird feeders everywhere, hanging in the trees. I had one little wooden bird table right beside my sleeping platform up in my tree.

Beautiful woodland birds that like gardens too.
